Jim Bianco

President & Index Manager

Jim Bianco is President and Index Manager at Bianco Research Advisors. He is also the President of Bianco Research LLC. Since 1990, Jim’s commentaries have offered a unique perspective on the global economy and financial markets. Unencumbered by the biases of traditional Wall Street research, Jim has built a decades long reputation for objective, incisive commentary that challenges consensus thinking.


Jim appears regularly on CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business, and is often featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, Grants Interest Rate Observer, and MarketWatch. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Marquette University (1984) and an MBA from Fordham University (1989).

Alex Malitas

Co-Index Manager & Index Construction

Alex Malitas is responsible for construction, implementation, and management of the Index and benchmark portfolio. He graduated from Marquette University in 2021 majoring in both Finance and Business Analytics. While there, he was selected to the Applied Investment Management (AIM) Program and was a member of the Division I Men's Lacrosse team.

Mike Moise

COO & Senior Vice President

Michael Moise is the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President at Bianco Research Advisors. His responsibilities include compliance, operations, and external communications. He also serves as the FINOP of Arbor Research & Trading, LLC, and has been with the firm since 2011. Mr. Moise holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 27, and 63 securities licenses. He was elevated to President in 2020 and provides oversight to all business units at Arbor. Mr. Moise graduated from Illinois State University in 1994 with a B.S. in Business Administration with a Finance focus and a minor degree in Accounting.

Tim Milani

Allocation Strategist

Tim Milani is a senior fixed income trader in the Lake Barrington office of Arbor Research and Trading LLC. He has over 30 years of fixed income experience trading across various sectors for the firms' institutional clients. Tim holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Northern Illinois University along with an MBA from Loyola University Chicago.

Greg Blaha

Senior Research Analyst

Greg Blaha is responsible for macroeconomic research and market insights. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2001. While there, he majored in both Finance and Computer Applications. In 2020, he obtained a master's degree in data science from Northwestern University.
